Every Sunday, working with the redoubtable Tuggy Meyer of Huntsworth Wines opposite the pub, we open a big bottle or two of superior wine and sell it by the glass and carafe.

This Sunday's offering is magnums of Chateau Citran 2015 Haut-Medoc, Cru Bourgeois.

"Presents an intense ruby color, limpid, brilliant. Its nose expresses aromas of black and red fruits. Its mouth is full-bodied and generous, with good structure, it leaves a certain aromatic persistence on the finish. This Haut-Médoc exudes pure tradition, with a pleasant wine, a powerful palate associated with silky tannins will charm you for sure!"
