Our Best Kept Secret

We just tweaked the bar menu post-Xmas, adding some top new snacks including Devilled Eggs w/ Trout Roe, the Allsopp’s Rarebit and a respectable Middle-white Sausage Roll. One of the best kept secrets at The Stoops is the Fried Onion Cheeseburger which has been on the Bar Menu since Day One.

The other day I happened upon a children’s birthday celebration in the bar at around 4.30pm - the entire party was making free with hamburgers and full-fat cola. What a marvellous thing!

A reminder that for those of you still labouring under the yoke of Dry January, we have alcohol-free options up the wazoo: Mash Gang beers, Pentire & Tonic and the wonder that is Botivo, which describes itself as a ‘sipping aperitivo’. We continue to offer, quietly, frothing ales, fine wines & Madeiras not to mention Martinis for those who have already cracked!
